For the progress, unity, and development of the Obowu community, we are here to extend a helping a hand. Ever since our establishment way back in 2001 at Washington, D.C., we have been focused on opening the world to the daughters and sons of Obowu through proper education and training. We aim to be an impartial union concerned with their current socio-economic standard and the general welfare of their community. We want the nation to acknowledge the affairs of the Obowu community.

Obowu Development Union, USA, Inc., is devoted to promote brotherhood, love, peace, health, and progress for the people. As a part of this mission, we perform medical missions, outreach programs, and offer scholarships to them.

We have set our objectives in motion ever since 2002. We have already aided a lot of children to be able to attend school over the past years. We have built town halls for Obowu’s village meetings to promote unity amongst the people. Organizing different community activities where everyone can participate is also our way of boosting their harmony. Our greatest achievement on which we took pride in is the placement of Obowu on the map of Imo State, Nigeria, which is all thanks to first executive Governor of old Imo State, Samuel Onunaka Mbakwe.

Even though we have achieved a lot, we still have a long way to go. We have technical and comprehensive secondary school buildings that are severely damaged and need renovations. We need more support and sponsorship from kindhearted people. Contact us and share your blessings.
